Desktop tab Missing from Display Properties

Logged on as an Administrator:::

1. Go to the START MENU
2. Type gpedit.msc then click OK

Pop up window will show up...

3. Under USER CONFIGURATION click the plus sign next to ADMINISTRATIVE TEMPLATES

4. Click the plus sign next to CONTROL PANEL.

5. Then under DISPLAY menu

6. On the right side, choose HIDE DESKTOP TAB

7. RIGHT CLICK HIDE DESKTOP TAB. Click PROPERTIES, choose disable then click apply then click OK.
